can you tile over, ( its looks like asphalt, roll on roofing material?)?
Posted by admin in Tile roofing on 09 10th, 2009the owner of the house has laid mesh and glued in down with construction adhesive along the seams, now wants us to lay mortar on top like a scratch coat. not a professional tiler so don’t know if its the right way. but yeah we can do it if the pays there but, Will the mortar stick to the "felt, asphalt" material? if not whats the proper way to tell the owner to do it.
forgot to mentioned its outside main entrance like a patio deck
yeah i agree dont accept responsibility when it cracks. advise him to take it off before you tile. but if he insist get it in writing that you warned him.
