Instead of a Capsheet, use Fiberglass Emulsion for a longer Roof Life

This video shows how Westcoat installs a maintenance spec on a fairly new roof. Applying our system over a new roof will not only make the roof seamless, but will a will also place the original membrane in a state of stasis, preserving the asphalts that would normally cook out over time. It is a great product to use on a new hot roof instead of a cap sheet. It is impervious to UV light and its durability protects against foot traffic. It can also qualify your roof with a Class A fire rating. This process upgrades the preexisting roof by adding 20+ years for a fraction of a re-roofing cost. We can help you get more from the roof you’ve already paid for.

    The modified …
The modified bitumen roof system Hirade is talking about is a standard and dangerous type of roofing where the risk of fire is very much real. But, if you must apply this modified, do it with a coat of Fibered Emulsion before you silver. This will give the roof a much longer life, especially if you recoat this roof every 7 to ten years depending on the amount you applied. To see the specs on emulsion, Google Henrys company, Apoc or Western colloid to name a few manufacturers. See for your self.

It is strange to imagine a coating system being a dependable roof system, just keep these things in mind. First the warranty, what does your average brand new roof warranty? For over 40 years this system has given a 20+ year life with a standard 10 year company warranty. That warranty is applicable on an expired preexisting roof! There is no flames, no solvents, no harmful odors and if a new coat is applied every 20 years, no need to ever tear off the roofing. Can you say that about Torch Down?

I`m not sure about spray on roofing. I think if you would have nailed down a fiberglass base sheet and torched on a smooth modified and coated it with fibered aluminum roof coating you would have a much better roof.

    It Looks Like You …
It Looks Like You Sprayed Driveway Sealer On A Modified Roof Then Hit It With Non Fibered Aluminum Coating…

The Roof Leak Should Stop For At Least 2 Rain Storms lol.
