what could i put over my sunroof shade where the roof material came off?

the material on the slider that covers the sunroof on the inside came off. I am trying to think of something fun,cool,and easy to put on the metal piece since the cover cannot be removed from the roof. Any suggestions? I have thought of mirror, or just plain painting it but not sure. Thank you.
