Home Restorations of Md successfully repaired the leaks in the 10:12 pitched roof of this Historic Home in Brandywine, Md as follows:

1) Replaced three leaking and rusting pipe collars with new neoprene & aluminum units and sealed with Geocel Tripolymer Sealant (acts as a barrier to wind-driven rain)
2) Replaced several shingle”blowoffs” with new Certainteed XT25 shingles — double nailed — and sealed with Geocel. Approx 1-1/2 bundles of shingles were used.
3) Repaired roofing nail “pops” with sealant — several.
4) Sealed hairline cracks in copper chimney flashing.
5) Tightened gutter spikes on lower porch area where needed.
6) Resealed other flashings where necessary.
7) Fixed leak in a fan vent cover (over bathroom) with new shingles and sealant.
