If it can be proved that the wind did the actual damage.. BUT.. they will not reimburse you for the total amount of tile because the existing tile can be used and all you are entitled to is the repairing of the tile to affix it better to the roof..

Unless the roof was hit with a hurricane or tornado, their pat answer is "poor workmanship on the part of the installer".
They will not pay for the roof. They may pay for interior damage caused by the roof failure.
Also as a roofing salesman, why dont you get the company whos product failed, to stand behind their warrenty?

Insurance companies will only pay for storm damage and not poor installation or bad maintenance.
Wear and tear is not covered.
You will have to prove the damage is caused by the storm, and the roof was in good condition prior to the storm.
