Read the instructions on the paint container. The manufacturer will state the temperature range required for proper bonding to a surface.
References :
I would not advise that you paint your roof with 30 degree temperature. Paints have temperature limits. The max temp for normal paint is around 50 degrees. Even paints that are specifically designed to be used at low temps have a limit of 34 degrees. What can end up happening to your paint is that it does not cure and ends up pooling in low spots. You can end up with a mess.
References :
Seeing other contractors paint at low temps and getting runs all over the place.
